If You Aren’t Blogging, Should You?

Before you start on a writing quest that’ll take an hour a day every day, without any return (i.e. reader bloggerscomments, request for RSS feeds, visitors) for oh, say, six months, visit this site. It covers:

  • how many blogs – conflicting estimates of how many blogs have been created – indications that most blogs are quickly abandoned and that few are regularly updated-
  • how many people are reading them – who is writing them
  • so, so yesterday – has blogging peaked?

Then, read Who Reads Blogs, How Blogs Make You a Better Writer, and  You Might Be a Blogger If…

then, make your decision.

I confess: Even after reading this post, I’m still writing.
