It’s America’s birthday and I’m celebrating. My Army son’s preparing for his upcoming deployment overseas and my Navy daughter is doing her thing in Fort Meade, Maryland. I hung the flag over my door and will take a moment to thank both of them and every other service member who accepted the calling to protect our nation’s freedoms.
