I gave it a few more days, but nope, not there. But you know what? We’re all rooting for you and your book and empathizing because ‘traveling’ for book signings (virtually or real time) is NOT EASY. I’ve been to some for my newest book (the children’s book) with 10 people there, and with 20, and with 5. Yikes. I’ve gone to book signings by well-received (on the bestseller list) authors at bookstores where only 8 people showed up. So we authors – we need a strong spirit to survive all this. ❤
Thanks so much. It did make me sad, but it’s as likely I messed something up as she did so I’m not going to overreact to it. Overall, this has been a wonderful launch for my book and I am so appreciative of everyone who helped.
BTW, do let me know if I can ever help you with a book launch. I’d love to host you!
Me either. Since she doesn’t post much, maybe she forgot, or does it later in the day. I’m going to check in a few hours, too. I see myself at a bookstore signing, all alone at my table, game face on, stack of virtual books, and no one there. It’s my nightmare!
It happens to every author, at least once, I’m sure. When I go to ThrillerFest, it’s always fun to listen to the panels of famous authors and hear their stories of lonely book signings when they first started. I suppose it’s a right
of passage. 😄
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. It’s not so much a cliffhanger as it seemed the best place to end the story. If I had kept going it would be a new book altogether. Hmm, maybe some day… 😁
Wow, thank you so much! What a nice review. I’m honored you read it and took the time to leave a review. I’m so glad you liked it. I wrote it so long ago I tend to forget about it, so it’s nice to see my starter novel get a little love again. 😊
Just finished it this morning! I’d like to meet Paloma, so you really did put her together with love and pride.

Don’t you know it, sometimes you travel to visit friends and they’ve just popped out! 😀😃 I look forward to reading it in due course when it’s up!

That does happen. It’s simply part of life. Sigh.

Nope. I’d say I got the day wrong but I can’t find my book anywhere on the site. I really confused something!

I saw that, too. Hmmm…. Maybe I mixed something up. I had that happen a few times in my blog hop, not often thankfully. Thanks for trying!

Oh that’s awful. I have never done a book signing for fear it would happen. Sigh.

Last comment–I promise. I just posted my review. Which is as glowing as so many others you got on this book.
