  1. Jacqui,

I pray for as long as we can to always pay tribute to those who died that September day 17 years ago. We should never want to forget. Thanks for the moving remembrance through mewsic. Have a blessed afternoon, my friend!

  2. Thinking of you all. Such a sad day for the world. It happened in the middle of the night for us. We couldn’t sleep for watching, not believing what we were seeing. We must strive for peace. It’s the only way forward.

  3. On 9/11 I think not only of those we lost but I also remember those with whom I shared that terrible day, my work “family.” I remember the blue sky was cloudless and the early autum air was crisp. I think of a friend who stopped st St Peter’s church to gather himself before going to work at Cantor Fitzgerald, seeing his life spayed by that short time. It feels like yesterday, the memories are so fresh.

  4. Jaqui, for those who lived in New York it was an event that changed so many people’s
lives directly. So much carnage and death. For the world it meant the start of distrust
everywhere. All travel changed. People strip, go through machines, walk without shoes.
    Fear !
I was on a Cruise ship on the way into Fort Lauderdale when the Captain came over tannoy
and asked everyone to return to cabins and watch the news. The disbelief was indescribable. Yes, it affected our belief and trust.

Can we rebuild this trust ever? Let us dream the dream.

    Miriam
