Einstein’s Compass–Now available on Amazon

I’m excited to announce that good efriend, Grace Allison’s newest YA book, Einstein’s Compass, is now available on Amazon. She offered me an ARC prior to publication–which I grabbed. Albert Einstein’s intellect stuns me–the way he connects the dots but also can communicate his brilliant thoughts to commoners like me. So the idea of writing about Einstein for a Young Adult audience grabbed my attention. That review is here.

I am honored to have my comment included on her back cover, sharing my heartfelt thoughts about this book (I’ve outlined it in red below):

If you’re a teacher or the parent of a young adult, or simply an Einstein aficionado like me, I highly recommend you read Grace’s book!

  2. Jacqui,

How neat to have your review featured on this Grace Allison’s book jacket! I know that’s a huge honor for you and rightly so. Thanks for the share. It sounds like a good piece of fiction for all ages. 🙂

  3. Congrats to Grace on this new release! I read your review, Jacqui. This sounds like a fun, exciting read and a unique opportunity to find out more about Einstein. Isn’t it fun to share your friend’s new books? Almost as good as releasing my own. !!! I’m sharing 2 new releases from friends this week on my blog and having a ball. I’ve learned writers are not in competition with each other, but rather are very generous helping each other to be successful. Jacqui, you are the perfect example of this. Thank you.

  4. Thank you, Jacqui, for reading and reviewing “Einstein’s Compass a YA Time Traveler Adventure” and posting the book release on your blog. Your review was perfect for the back cover. Einsteins Compass is Lexile rated L860 the same as “Harry Potter” and the “Hunger Games”. Lexile is a company that screens books for children and young adults. Librarian, teachers, and parents look for Lexile rating to ensure they are offering screened books before they purchase or recommend them.

I hope your readers will consider putting “Einstein’s Compass” on their reading list for themselves and their families in 2019. The Kindle is available now. The paperback coming out this week and an audiobook in production to come out around March 1, 2019, in time for Albert’s birthday on March 19th, PI Day. Also, consider giving a book as a gift.
Have a blessed and inspired 2019.

    • I am so impressed with all the options you have for this book. An audiobook–I’ve looked into that but nothing else. You will have to post at some point on how those sales go and/or how the help other sales.

Thanks for this amazing read, Grace.

      • Audiobooks are climbing in popularity. I enjoy audiobooks when I choose a book to read. Amazon has a feature called Whispersync. When you have the Kindle and audiobook you can listen to the book on your iPhone or in the car then return home to read from your Kindle at the place where you stopped listening. Amazon offers deals that combine the audiobook and kindle.

The cost to produce an audiobook depends on the word count and the narrator’s fee. Depending on your genre there might be only a few audiobooks available.

I narrated my non-fiction book “Do You Have a Dream 140 Insights” and have sold 46 audiobooks. Amazon offers bounty fees, free audiobooks, and cash rewards if you recruit a new person to create an audiobook account. I receive a free audiobook credit each month because of one new person who joined Audible.
