I wish you and all yours a wonderful Thanksgiving Break. Enjoy your family and friends, take some time to rest.
While you’re enjoying your turkey dinner (or talking Turkey with family), vote on this poll and then see if how you define ‘turkey’ is like others:

I’ll see you around the December 2nd!

Lol… Lived in the US… so definitely Thanksgiving. Always, Christmas in UK and US. And thoroughly enjoyed a vacation in Turkey. 😀

My kids are always shocked when they both make it home for Thanksgiving (being in the military, that’s harder than it sounds). They always think it’ll be the last time we’re all together. Sigh.

Christmas for me. And ‘cold turkey’ as an expression. Never even knew it referred to strikes in bowling before. Hope you have a lovely week for Thanksgiving with your family!

That’s the plan though my daughter will be chock full of energy. Maybe I’ll just sit back and let her take over. Hmm…

Thank you so much, Annika. Be happy you don’t have all the cooking and cleaning to do! Of course, I’m sure you have a similar sort of day that brings family together.

You’re right, Jacqui, no such big family reunions yet. We all meet up for Christmas … but at my brother’s, so spared the big cooking and washing up! 😀😀 I’m so looking forward to see them all. Are you all having a chance to meet up? Xx

I have no idea where that one came from. Never heard a ‘slinky’ referred to as a ‘turkey’–well, maybe someone thought it was a lousy gift!
