As a Tech Teacher, I’ve been Geek for years but these days, with remote and hybrid teaching, everyone has to get their geek on. I have this poster on my Ask a Tech Teacher blog I share with colleagues on how to do that:
More Geek Humor (from Ask a Tech Teacher)
Everything I Need to Know Came From a Computer
Humor that Inspires–for Teachers! Part V
18 Things Teachers Do Before 8am
Jacqui Murray is the author of the popular Building a Midshipman, the story of her daughter’s journey from high school to United States Naval Academy, the Rowe-Delamagente thrillers, and the Man vs. Nature saga. She is also the author/editor of over a hundred books on integrating tech into education, adjunct professor of technology in education, blog webmaster, an Amazon Vine Voice, a columnist for NEA Today, and a freelance journalist on tech ed topics. Look for her next prehistoric fiction, Laws of Nature, Fall 2021. You can find her tech ed books at her publisher’s website, Structured Learning
I really wish life had an undo button. 🙂 Thatnks for the great list, Jacqui. 🙂

Hehee. When we’re all simply bits and bytes like The Matrix, you’ll have one. You just won’t control it!

I noticed that, too. Don’t know how I lost track of you but judging by your latest post, I shouldn’t have!

I switch between two laptops. When one is not fast enough, I need a break (to give the laptop a break?) and use another one. Still, my other one says, slow down.
I do need the “undo” button when I hit certain keys too fast and might delete a chunk of words. Thanks for this post, Jacqui!

Yes, these are geeky! Lol

It’s hard to authentically describe a geek. These will work well.

Thank you for sharing!!… I has a teacher tell me that “the day I need not gather anymore knowledge was the day of my funeral” so I am still learning!!… 🙂 “ I am currently attending the School of Life, learning more about the universe and me… and Graduation Day will be the day of my funeral and it is then I will know if I failed or I succeeded and graduated”… (Larry “Dutch” Woller)
Hope all is well in your part of the universe and until we meet again…
May flowers always line your path
and sunshine light your way,
May songbirds serenade your
every step along the way,
May a rainbow run beside you
in a sky that’s always blue,
And may happiness fill your heart
each day your whole life through.

Hi Jacqui – I’m hunkering down and hoping nothing upsets the geek aspects I use … pain in the butt when those things change! Thankfully my head is in gear and moving slowly forward (as you know – it’ll happen!) … and I’m thinking a lot … fortunately not suffering – I’m grateful for my genes. Take care and all the best – Hilary
