I wish you and all yours a wonderful US Thanksgiving Break. Enjoy your family and friends, take time to rest.
I’ll be around in a limited way until December 2. Then, I’ll be back fulltime.

Hi. In the piece you posted today, I don’t see a link that will bring me over to Grace Blair’s site. Maybe it’s there and I’m just not noticing it?

My mistake. I’ve added it BUT I don’t see the article up on her blog yet. I sent her a note, see if maybe I got the date wrong.
Darn! I hate when that happens.

OK, just talked to Grace. It looks like I had the date wrong–it’ll be up tomorrow. It’s hard (for me) to organize a long(er) book launch. I will have to make note of that in the Reflections posts.

Happy belated thanksgiving Jacqui! Been so caught up with the book promo prep, haven’t been able to do much spend time on blogging lately 😦

I’ve been celebrating most of the month, Damyanti, starting with my kids being here in the first half. The regular day almost seemed anticlimactic! Looking forward to your book launch!

We celebrated in early November with the kids–the only time they could both get home–so this was quiet and wonderful. Thanks, Jaya!

What a terrific piece of advice: to take the time to rest and recover! I once read of a company that, as terms of employment, required that its employees take at least 2 weeks of continuous vacation. Not just a day here and there to run errands. But actual time to rest and recover. What a fantastic way to treat one’s employees?

I’ve heard of that too. There is huge benefit to a longer period of rest time. Thanks for visiting. Love your blog!

Happy thanksgiving a day late! We were in Zion National Park. We ate ham for dinner. 🤷♀️😁

We had lasagna! Your kids weren’t bothered by the non-trad? I wouldn’t be surprised if that outside-the-box thinking was more your norm than unusual!
That’s a huge compliment, btw.

We went with ham because it’s favored over turkey by most in the family and because it was easier to purchase in a small quantity while traveling. We didn’t want leftovers.
Lasagna! Go you! We actually had that (frozen from Costco) on the first night we reached our destination. That’s our go-to dinner when we arrive after a long time in the car. 🙂 And thanks for the compliment! Back at you!

Costco lasagna is excellent. We would have eaten that, but husby loves cooking it!

Awesome your husband loves cooking it! That’s no doubt better than Costco’s. You lucky girl!

If you ask me, this “thanksgiving” occasion should never end. We are thankful to each other, to the nature, to the society, to the government, to administrators, fellow beings and the Almighty, every moment.

Absolutely! Everyone seemed pretty busy so I’ll have to catch up with them this weekend. My sis has a huge group at her Thanksgiving table (rural Indiana with family all close by). I can’t wait to hear the low down on how that went.
