This week, I am visiting fellow author, Mark Bierman. Born and raised on a farm, spending his days doing chores, riding horses, fishing, and more provided fodder for his adult career as a private investigator and later a Correctional Officer (something my FIL also did). Mark used his unique experiences to create his popular debut novel, Vanished, where two Americans try to save a young girl who has been kidnapped in Haiti for purposes of child trafficking.
